SKU: 2266
£16,500.00Price
  • A fine pair of Regency period rosewood veneered card tables; the card table's well figured top with amboyna crossbanding and canted corners opening to reveal a baize lined playing surface above a frieze geometrically inlaid with amboyna and a central ebony star, raised on a gilded ball stem which terminates in four swept legs inlaid with amboyna and terminating in the original lion paw casters.

This pair of  antique Regency card tables retain an excellent colour and patina. The use of the most exclusive woods for the antique tables' veneers show that they would have been commissioned for a highly fashionable Regency residence.
